Bio

Behind the Author

Coming from a Forces Family, J.R. Mulholland lived in Germany and England before the family returned to their native Northern Ireland.  His father's itchy feet took them on to Scotland and then back to England where they finally settled down.

J.R.  Mulholland moved to Wales to complete the UK set, then spent time in Southampton, Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester.  He now lives in Chesterfield, with his pet snail, Gilbert.

Having worked as an aircraft engineer, a labourer, an environmental health officer, a harbour master, a cleaner, a fuel barge attendant, a gardener, a market trader, a meat inspector in slaughterhouses, a driver, a warehouse picker and a geo-environmental engineer, he thought it was high time he became an author.
